Eric and Lisa

Nothing much going on here. Ian and I were sick this past weekend -- me more so than Ian. He just seemed a little uncomfortable and "off". I had a migraine on Saturday and Sunday, along with a fever and some more nursing problems. I have an appointment at the OB/Gyn tomorrow, and I'll be talking to the doctor about possibly ending breastfeeding. I hate to do it, but it's starting to affect Ian, and he might be better off just switching to formula at this point. We'll see. I'd like to continue if possible.

At any rate, Ian's getting cuter and more fun by the day. If you look at the pictures in his photo album on this website, you'll see that he's found his thumb. It's become his best friend! He's playing a lot more with toys and is starting to be really interested in the world around him. He still loves his daily bathtime, and making faces and funny noises with Daddy is his favorite pasttime. Eric and I try to get out once a week just the two of us, even if it's just for coffee, and Ian does really well with that. We have so many people here that love to take care of him -- we are blessed with some really great and loving friends. It helps to compensate for the fact that we're so far away from family.
