Finally some sunshine

Wow, after what seemed like weeks and weeks of
constant rain, we finally have some sun! Our garden
sure appreciated the water, but now it's looking a
little yellowed from lack of sun. Hopefully today
will bring some life back into it.
I see it's been two weeks since I updated this thing,
and that's probably because not a lot has happened to
really talk about. Eric and I had our fifth
anniversary a week ago today, and Ian had his first
babysitting experience while we went out for Indian
food and ice cream. All three of us had a fun time --
Eric and I on our little date, and Ian at our
neighbors Fred and Carol's house. They almost didn't
want to let him go back home with us because they had
so much fun with him!
Last weekend, we took our first road trip up north to
see the mothers/grandmas for Mother's Day. I also got
to celebrate my first Mother's Day! Ian did really
well travelling. He got a little off of his regular
schedule, but we expected that. He had his first
Bethel visit as well, on Monday while we were up in
the South Bend area, and he slept through most of it.
He wasn't too impressed yet. I guess college is a
little far off for him to be excited about it.
So, we've been back home for a few days now, and are
trying to settle into a routine again. Eric will be
going back to work full-time next week, and I'll be
home with Ian. I hope to start tutoring in the next
couple of weeks again, but I really need to wait
until I'm completely healed before that happens.
Well, Ian's ready for his lunch, and Eric needs help
with the garage, so I'll end this thing now. I hope
all of our family and friends are doing well and that
God is blessing your lives as richly as He is ours!
